Once you have downloaded and installed Office 365 on your Mac, follow these quick steps: Click the Launchpad icon in the Dock to display all of your apps. Click the Microsoft Word icon in the Launchpad. The What's New window opens automatically when you launch Word. Click Get Started to start activating. Current HSU students are licensed to install no-cost versions of Microsoft Office software on up to 5 personally-owned PC or Mac devices, 5 mobile devices, and 5 tablets. - Full Microsoft Office Applications for personal devices including PC's, Macs and Mobile:
- Office can be installed an unlimited number of times, but can only be used on five devices simultaneously
- Installing Office on a sixth device will deactivate the 5th oldest license
- The deactivated version of Office can later be reactivated by signing back into Office on that device
- Online versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint for editing and collaboration on the go
- OneDrive for Business which provides collaboration capability and 1Tb of storage
